Additional features allow your staff to only access areas they are accredited for and their ID is attached to any prescriptions they process.
The use of bar code reading and robotic dispensing will also help to reduce the chances of errors occurring. On the arrival of a prescription in the pharmacy, the ETP bar code is simply scanned into the PMR or the none bar coded prescription is processed manually. The PMR then automatically orders a dispensing robot to retrieve the product or it is dispensed manually. The product is then labelled with a uniquely bar coded patient label before a final cross check of the bar codes on the patient label and product ensures complete accuracy.
